 If you are interested in saving the XC Racing for this season and suggesting a manageable format for next year please come along.
People are needed for the current roles:
Commissaires, First Aiders, Marshals, Course makers and collectors

Coast to Coast will start at 9.30 at the sea terminal on the 12th July and there will be 3 different ability groups . The rides will aim to finish at the Creek in Peel for tea and toast at approximately 12 .00.
Cost is £2 per head for the tea and toast and then people will be free to decide how they want to get back to the Sea Terminal.

| The Manx Mountain Bike Club MTB Enduro took place on Sunday 21st of June,in variable weather conditions i.e.drizzle and mist! 28 riders took part over a fantastic course set out the day before by Neil Helks and Julian Corlett starting in the new car park in Ballaugh Plantation and going up and over to Tholty Will.The gnarly single track suited winner Kale Hawkins riding style perfectly with Julian Corlett nursing an injured leg to finish second. Back from the British Championships and recovering from a broken colarbone Eurocycles rider Alex Kinvig used the demo Specialized Epic to good effect posting third with Bikestyles Ronan O'Toole fourth. Fifth went to always impressive Martin Bonser.No gears no suspention.Respect! |

Ladies only rides take place every Monday and Thursday evenings starting from various meeting points. A good level of fitness is required.

Sunday 28th June is the Big Summer (Mountain Bike) Trailquest |

Sunday 28th June is the Big Summer (Mountain Bike) Trailquest. Based in
Laxey with an event HQ at the Pavilion (will be signposted from the centre
of Laxey) there will be a choice of either 3 or 5 hour events. We are
hiring extra controls for the event to make sure that there are plenty of
route choices. Please make sure that your TCA associate membership is up
to date! Registration is from 9am with start times between 9:30-10:00. We
will be making use of the excellent new cafe facilities at the Pavilion for
post-ride refreshments. Full details and links can be found on

| The next race will be an enduro on Sunday 21st June. Sign on at Ballaugh Plantation car park from 9am with start times upto 10am. This will be a timed event with the electronic dibber system so the fastest time with the most laps completed in 3 hours wins. The course will use Tholt-y-Will and Ballaugh and will be about a 1 hour lap. For further details ring Fay on 853325. |
